Our services are purchased by corporations, universities, organizations and individuals around the country.

We create digital images from slides ranging in age from 10 to 50 years.

Typically the normal age of scanned slides are 30-40 years, although we scan many that are 50+ years old -- and yes we do get good images from these. Not all slides are old... some are as recent as a few months old.
Some customers send us slides that are of artistic value (paintings, tapestries, nature, etc.). These images require special attention to color balance, something we as a small semi-custom shop are able to provide.
We additionally offer custom services for those cases in which extra care and attention is required for each scan. Typically this type of service is used by people who have images of artistic value which need that extra attention and balance along with slight retouching of images. This service is used by advertising agencies or people working in that arena.

The typical customer is trying to preserver family photos before they fade away or get ruined over time due to the elements. When doing jobs such as this, normally we receive 200-1200 slides per order - just varies based on the individual needs. Sometimes orders are split up - let us know and we will work with you on the volume pricing.

I searched the web for a site to digitize almost 1200 slides that I had taken over several decades. Of all the sites I visited I was most impressed with Lee Digital Scanning for its' completeness. The site was by far the most thorough and technical in its' presentation and explanation of the process, and seemed to answer most of the questions I had formulated in my mind. Based on the quality of the site I sent my slides to be done. Mr. Lee proved to be an excellent communicator and it became obvious he was dedicated to doing the best possible job. He was thorough and professional with the preparation and conversion of my slides. The quality was all that I had hoped for and the turnaround time was better than I expected.

Excellent experience working with Tom. Great service and product/service quality. I have two suggestions. ... I thought your price was very reasonable (if not lower than expected), but just fyi...your prices for slide / picture scanning are higher than many competitors (we discussed reasons for this and it makes sense to me), although your DVD slideshow charges are lower than most that I've seen. Your website may want to provide more color as to why your fees are what they are somehow better communicate the superior service that you get for the $. Thanks again - John
